Summer is almost over – boo! Labour Day, to us, always feels like both an ending and a beginning. Many of us try to celebrate with a family or friend get-together but don’t want to spend the weekend in the kitchen. We’ve put together Four Labour Day Menus that aim to keep the effort low and use the last of the incredible summer produce. Most of the dishes can be made ahead and all dishes can be made in 30 minutes or less with the exception of marinating time for some of the proteins.
Take the load off yourself even more by substituting menu items with a couple of store-bought or restaurant-bought dishes (dessert, a pre-made couscous, salad, coleslaw, etc.) And needless to say, mix and match the menus. Pass the watermelon!
